Oh my...finally manage to update my blog only now...

FYP in school have been taking a toll on me for the past few weeks. I wouldn't say that I am extremely stressed out but the stress is definitely more than what I experienced during internship. Because FYP involves collaboration work, my partner and I communicate well with one another most of the times but not that well through social media. It all boils down to adapting and giving in to one another :) It's just the beginning, I am still having much hopes for our project! Hwaiting! (to the both of us!)

Gardens by the Bay is simply beautiful! Have been wanting to blog about it for days but couldn't find the time to! The flowers they have there blew me away especially when I am a flower lover ^_^ Wait for me blog, I shall photobomb my entire blog with pictures! :D

Since it's getting quite late, I shall end off this short post as I still have stuff to settle! Toodles!

-Success doesn't come easy. To taste the sweetness of the ending result, one's suffering in the beginning is inevitable. When positive thoughts are there, the rewards will be manifested eventually.

Birthday ☆彡

(#ootd for yesterday plus my messy room :p)

Been having the urge to blog since yesterday about my birthday this year since yesterday but didn't have the time to! 

Since young, every birthday that my family celebrated with me is more or less a pretty simple but blissful cake-cutting session. However, the birthday that I had this year and last year was probably one of the few birthdays that I really enjoyed :)

19th Birthday

-Clique Celebration

This year's birthday was really interesting to me because not only that I celebrated with my family, my secondary school clique as well as my colleagues gave me surprised celebration! (I am a total sucker for surprises and I am quite fail at guessing hints given HAHA!) 

As a pretty blur person myself, I totally have zero clue that BFF and gang actually planned a surprise birthday cake for me! Like my BFF, we both ♥ decorated birthday cakes as well as surprises. Somehow, the day before the actual day of my birthday, BFF and I chatted on the phone and I was faintly expressing how envious I was cliques that always plan surprise birthday celebrations for each other. She immediately cut me off and stated how busy she was and ask me to not expect anything except a simple dinner gathering ( I wasn't going to if she didn't say anyway. LOL) 

Finally, I ended a tiring day at work and it's time for me to meet the girlies for dinner gathering^^ Unexpectedly, I reached the venue pretty early and I tried to contact them via Whatsapp. NO ONE RESPONDED DESPITE MY CONSTANT SPAMMING. Instantly, I felt something fishy was going on but I just couldn't figure out what was it. So, I just told myself that I was thinking too much.

Yes..this is me feeling very happy for the delicious and cute cupcake (with a candle!) they got for me after our dinner... (Sorry for looking sleepy ._.) Just when I thought my celebration ended here .... here comes the interesting part...

Just when I was munching my cupcake happily... suddenly...

TADA! MY ACTUAL BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED CAKE! :''') I WAS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED AND TOUCHED! ♥♥♥ 

My face instantly went so much more smiley with my actual cake! hehehe! ^^ To conclude this, I want to especially thank my BFF for her thoughtfulness into tricking me as well as the rest of the clique for their awesome acting :D ♥

-Family Celebration

For all these years, birthday celebration with dad and mum have always been at home. However, dad agreed to bring us all out to a restaurant of my choice to celebrate my birthday this year! I am so thankful for that♥ Because my parents' present for me is always a cake for my birthday, being demanding (for once), I requested my mum to handmade a card for me with minimal hopes that she will do it. And guess what, she did! :D She practically hunted my whole room down to find the materials for the card. So sweet!

A+ for effort and love in the card! ♥

I am really thankful for dad's treat on the meal as well as the card specially made by my mum! Continue to be my awesome parents! ♥

-Colleagues Celebration

It was a typical surprise birthday celebration for my colleagues side but I really appreciate the thought because I am just a small little intern there but they remembered my birthday and celebrated for me. :') Adding to the cake, my secondary school senior AKA colleague even bought presents for me as well as my "diamond-to-be" sweetie! ♥

- BFF Birthday Celebration

Probably the blur person alongside with me will be this BFF of mine. She planned to pass me my present when we meet up for dinner but she left it at her dad's office! I swear it was super epic of her! But she made it up by coming to my house the next day to pass it to me :) Because she is in JC, each meet up with have with one another is so much cherished and precious :') ♥ May our friendship go on forever...

All in all, to friends that I did not mention in my post, your messages, your wishes and your little gifts are all safely kept in a treasure box of mine and I truly appreciate everyone of them because they make me feel loved♥

Additionally, I would like to specially thank this person that celebrated my 18th birthday with me last year :) Every little gift, concern and care is appreciated and locked in my memories. You are probably the first person that gives me genuine care and concern without wanting anything in return. I am thankful yet at the same time sorry for some things that I could not reciprocate. If fate allows, I hope our friendship will still be there in the long run :)

-Moments of happiness come and go in a flash of an eye before you know it. Seize and grab it while you can. Because once you miss it, even regret will not be able to retrieve it back.

To me, some friends are like crystals. You can treasure a crystal so much but can also break it any moment if there is no proper care. So is friendship. I guess if anyone experience the situation above (includes me), that person isn't your best friend right from the start :) You thought that that particular friend is the diamond that you are searching for, but in actual fact, it's just a brittle crystal. A real friend should be one that is like a diamond, it can withstand high temperatures (obstacles), it doesn't break easily and it's something you cherish a lot (the friendship).

But I guess in life, it's good to have experiences like that so that I could tell who are the ones that will stand by my side and from those that couldn't put enough trust or maintain that friendship with me :) Though it's disappointing, I still chose to keep those good memories. I don't see the point in hating the other party because I believe part of the factor also boils down to how much fate there is among one another.

Life isn't too bad for me as for now probably because I kept a positive mindset? :D Although FYP is taking a little toll on me recently, but for my own benefit as well as my partner's, we know that all of this we are about to go through will be all worth it! "Believe that you can and you shall manifest!"

Now that I can back in school, I kinda miss working life as well as the colleagues that have been with me for 4months :( It would be a lie if I say that I am super happy during my internship because there will always be ups and downs. I am just really really thankful for the patient guidance and hospitality that my colleagues had given me! There are just countless and countless of stuff that I have learnt about working with people as well as working in the outside world!

Apart from the whole bunch of awesome colleagues, I also met another "potential diamond-to-be" during my Internship :) It is just so accidental that we hit off really well. We felt like we both knew one ago long ago when in actual fact the Internship is only merely 4 months! For this, I am really thankful to chance upon another angel to be included in my list :)

To conclude this post, I am thankful for all the friends that are willing to walk on with me and be part of my life journey for as long as time allows :) For those that somehow walked out of my life, I am also thankful for the good memories left for me :) 

May everything be well for those I love as well as for myself!

-Memories are one of the most beautiful things in life. It depends on what kind of memories you keep. I used to keep the bad alongside with the good ones. But now, I choose to focus only on the good ones. How about you? ^^

Born Again...

Huraay! Finally managed to figure out the codes and HTMLs for blog templates after not touching blogspot for so long!

This is probably the first time I create a blog not only to pen down events in my life, but to really express gratitude for the things I am given as well as to allow myself to master the art of happiness. For 19 years of my life, I lived in a world of competition and unhappiness. After reading "The Secret", I am convinced that I deserve all the good things in life and if I stick by to the teachings, it will eventually bring me real happiness.

I hope that anyone that chanced upon this little blog of mine will find peace and happiness within your true inner self and watch as I re-create a different life story for myself after 19 years living on this planet (:
